Slings and arrows of outrageous fortune
About a year ago, maybe more, I started watching Slings & Arrows. I only watched the first two seasons and then totally forgot about. I started watching it again the other week and just finished season 3, the final season. I'm pretty sure some of you watch it but for those who don't it's about a Canadian Shakespearean theater festival. The main guy, Geoffrey, used to be part of the festival but one night went mad mid way through a product oh Hamlet. When his old friend and director Oliver dies he comes back to the festival to put on Hamlet. He ends up getting help from, of all people, Oliver in ghost form. It's really very brilliant and funny. What I know about the works of Shakespeare is limited to school so don't be put off by that aspect of it. I did a picspam of the pilot to celebrate finishing the series.

Thats Geoffrey (yes that is the guy from Due South) and his new company (not very fancy)

Thats Oliver (pre ghost) on the left. You know I've watch all 3 season and I still don't have a clue what the names of those two guys are. They are great fun though and also do the opening credits. I'm such a bad fan.

Thats Ellen. Her and Geoffrey were together until it all fell apart and he went insane.

Richard Smith-Jones! I adore him and he adores musicals!

Aww the good old days.

Haha, it's Anna and her amazingness.

There's Kate aka Rachel McAdams.

Maria, the cranky and funny stage... person.

Look how happy they are pre crazy Geoffrey and ghost Oliver.

That pretty much covers episode one. So go watch it if you haven't and go rewatch it if you have. Sure what else are you going to be doing?

Ooh, I might have to check the show out! (Was a theater person in high school, and love Shakespeare.) Rachel McAdams's stage costumes are gorgeous.
