You know what I love? I love that this has been a busy day for the Merlin fandom. Why? Why is the best bit. Because:

a) There was a 5 minute Merlin segment on Blue Peter about the catering. FOOD, PEOPLE! (video and epic discussion of over 100 posts can be found here).

b) There was an intense analytical discussion about whether Bradley does indeed have a red (some would say burgundy) 3rd generation iPod or an iPhone (or both). Said discussion can be found here (as of now there are 39 posts in that thread).

c) threemeows posted the latest segment in her epic Albion University series of awesomeness (which obviously brightened the day up quite a lot and invoked rather a lot of squeeage).

d) News on the "You're the Voice" front: it was Colin's idea, although Bradley likes to try to take the credit for it (information courtesy of myfoolisheart)

e) I've started a new fanfic. FINALLY THE SEAL OF MY WRITER'S BLOCK HAS BEEN BROKEN!

f) I think I've given in to the temptation to become an irrational Morgana/Sir Leon shipper. ITS MEANT TO BE, OKAY, PEOPLE?

The best thing about today? NOTHING actually to do with the show has happened. And yet its still been an awesome day. And THAT is why I love this fandom.

Note: This is how I blend. It's the only way I blend. I can't get blending to work by having both layers set to normal and by erasing the parts I don't want. I think it looks weird and the blending isn't smooth. I don't know how other people blend and if I once knew another way to blend, I don't know it anymore. In other words: this tutorial isn't the be all and end all to blending.
